MOSCOT, the New York City heritage eyewear brand, announces the relocation of its Soho Shop from 37 to 39 Beak Street, marking the next chapter in its London story. A decade after opening its first international location, MOSCOT moves next door into a larger space – continuing its legacy of timeless design, craftsmanship, and community.

Located just off Carnaby Street in one of London’s most creative corners, Beak Street has long felt like a natural home for MOSCOT outside of New York. The neighbourhood’s rich history in fashion, music, and the arts mirrors the brand’s own downtown sensibility. The new 70 square meters Shop, complete with a 12 square meters testing facility, brings an even bigger slice of the Lower East Side to Soho – featuring signature tin ceilings, vintage tchotchkes, and historical artefacts that reflect five generations of family heritage.

“Reaching ten years on Beak Street is a proud milestone for our family and for MOSCOT,” says Dr. Harvey Moscot, 4th Generation & CEO. “Much like Orchard Street in New York, where we’ve been rooted for decades, Beak Street became our first home outside of the U.S. While we’ve outgrown our original space, staying in the neighbourhood and moving next door felt like the most natural evolution. Soho welcomed us from the start, and this move allows us to continue serving our customers with the same care – just with a little more room to do it.”

Founded in 1915, MOSCOT began with Hyman Moscot selling eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street. Now led by Dr Harvey Moscot and his son Zack Moscot, 5th Generation & Chief Design Officer, the brand has grown into a globally recognised name in eyewear – while remaining family-owned and rooted in its New York heritage.

“Soho’s creative energy has always reminded us of the Lower East Side,” adds Zack Moscot. “From day one, Beak Street felt like home. Ten years on, that connection has only grown stronger – and this new space gives us the opportunity to deepen it.”

Since opening in Soho, MOSCOT has expanded across London with Shops in Covent Garden, Marylebone, and King’s Road, while continuing its global growth with recent openings in Florence (Italy), Melbourne (Australia), and Guangzhou (China).
